A Program for Schools just getting started with FAST for Success-Reading
Launch is the foundational FAST for Success-Reading program. This program is the product of over six years of research and innovation in professional learning and implementation. Find out more about the FAST for Success-Reading Launch program below.
What
Professional Development
The key activities and resources for the FAST for Success-Reading Launch program include:
- 2 hour onboarding meeting before school begins to set you up for a successful implementation of the program
- 10 professional learning events that your instructional leaders will attend online via Zoom.
- Six Facilitator Training events will train your instructional leadership staff in data team meeting facilitation. Each event is two hours.
- Four Digging Deeper events that will train your staff in the Science of Reading and support connection between conceptual understanding and FastBridge data. Each event is 3.5 hours.
- 6 data team meetings implemented at your school throughout the school year. These meetings are usually implemented with grade-level teams or PLC's.
Materials and Resources
The key resources your staff will access with FAST for Success-Reading, include:
- The FAST for Success-Reading Staff Workbook will guide your teachers through data-based decision making activities for each of the six data team meetings you will implement at your school.
- The FAST for Success-Reading Facilitator Manual will support you school's designated data team meeting facilitators in effectively leading staff through data-based decision making activities in each of the six data team meetings.
- The FAST for Success-Reading Leadership Guidebook provides implementation support for school administrators to coordinate systems, schedules and resources.
- The FAST for Success Canvas site will provide your staff with a large volume of additional professional learning supports including videos, asynchronous modules, infographics, handouts, and much more.

- Any other educators who use FastBridge reading data and/or support reading instruction
When
The program runs from July, 2023 through June, 2024. See the current calendar to get an idea of when professional learning events take place throughout the school year (note that this is an approximate timeframe). All PD is provided through live, virtual sessions that educators access online.
Cost
Cost per school is typically $5,000 with flexible pricing and multi-school discounts available.
