What

Continuing schools who wish to participate in the Sustain program will receive access to a robust set of professional learning and implementation resources, but without the in-person and scheduled professional development events. Instead, continuing schools that wish to participate will get:

  • Six, asynchronous, online facilitator training courses: Each of these courses will provide training on how to facilitate each of the six major data team meetings in FAST for Success-Reading. This resource can be used to review content and is ideal for training new staff to become data team meeting facilitators, such as classroom teachers.
  • Downloadable and updated 2023-2024 FAST for Success-Reading Facilitator Manual, Staff Workbook, and Leadership Guidebook. Available in digital format (i.e., fillable PDF), or to print in color or black and white.
  • Access to all asynchronous "Digging Deeper" PD events featuring the latest research and best practices in the Science of Reading.
  • Access to all asynchronous resources in Canvas, including videos, infographics, modules, and optional activities.
  • Community discussion boards moderated by FFS-R staff where you can find answers and receive support to continue implementing robust data team meetings and effective teaching based on the Science of Reading.

All materials and resources are available for you to download and implement as you choose, but you will also continue to have access to sample schedules and recommended timeframes for online courses and data team meeting implementation.
